FMG director appointment

Fleet management group FMG Support has recruited Mark Scanlon as commercial director, responsible for the sales, marketing and customer service teams. He was previously BAE Systems’ head of global business development and commercial director at Dyson.
Scanlon will be responsible for FMG Support’s sales, client management and marketing teams, and will sit on the board of Directors. He will also play a key role in developing FMG Support’s future business strategy, whilst scoping out new market opportunities and services. Scanlon has a wealth of experience of working in some of the world’s leading blue chip brands, including BAE Systems where he was head of global business development and Dyson where he was managing director of its commercial division.
FMG Support’s decision to expand its senior team comes at a time of significant growth and development for the company. Turnover has increased from £29 million in 2004 to a projected £75 million in 2007, and staff has grown over the last three years to 350, making it one of the largest employers in the local area.
