FMG Support defies predicted industry slow-down

FMG Support, the UK’s leading fleet performance improvement company, has announced impressive levels of sustained growth during the last two years. Key landmarks include dramatically increasing turnover by more than 100%, doubling both its vehicle parc and its workforce to around 320 permanent staff and significantly developing key accounts. This impressive record is further substantiated by LeasePlan’s decision to award its entire accident management provision to FMG Support. These indicators demonstrate how customer-focused and service-driven outsourced fleet service providers can thrive despite recent warnings of a predicted industry downturn.

Within increasingly competitive market conditions, FMG Support continues to succeed in working towards its ambitious growth plans and has established a revered reputation within the market. This has been achieved through its commitment to providing fleet services that increase customers’ efficiency, boost profitability and are underpinned by the highest customer service standards and internal infrastructure.

In addition to winning key accounts during 2006 with major players such as Arval, and Masterlease,
FMG Support has also recently extended its service offering to LeasePlan, the world's largest vehicle management and leasing provider. During the last three and a half years, LeasePlan has increased its business with FMG Support due to the consistent high service levels and cost effective incident management services that they receive. Over these years, the account has grown from the initial provision of uninsured loss recovery (ULR) to then delivering repair management. The recent contract extension now means that FMG Support will provide one complete, consolidated accident management solution spanning all call handling, repair management, engineering, ULR and 3rd party capture. The confidence in this decision has been reinforced by FMG Support’s regular achievement of LeasePlan’s ‘gold standard’ for each of its quarterly supplier performance audits this year.

To ensure the continued achievement of its business development plans, FMG Support has made a series of new management appointments. This includes the introduction of Tracy Pepper as managing director earlier this year to take the business forward on a day-to-day basis. This has also been supported by the creation and implementation of bespoke internal training and development programmes to ensure that the workforce continues to embrace and facilitate the ongoing growth of the business.
