FMG SUPPORT has developed a bespoke in-house vehicle mapping system to ensure that customers are located quickly, even if the driver is unaware of their location.
The system also guarantees the allocation of recoveries to the nearest possible agent, which ensures that drivers get back on the road as quickly as possible.
The latest Microsoft mapping software has been integrated with FMG Support’s existing Ingenium technology to create the system, which features enhanced capabilities to locate customers.
The GPS technology in mobile phones is linked to the mapping function and can locate drivers in around eight seconds. If a mobile phone signal is unavailable, the vehicle can be tracked via postcode.
